Just finished. It’s a nice little “side site” built on WordPress. There’s still a few layout issues to deal with over the next week, but I’m pretty happy with it.

Portfolio
I’ve been whipping out some serious logos this week.
I may have earned the title “logo toaster”.
For the last 8 or so years, I have been an Art Director for 57design, Inc. in Santa Cruz, CA. This is my personal portfolio, which includes overlap from 57design, and some fun side projects.

I started working on Central Coast Cycles almost 10 years ago. Like an odd marriage there’s been ups and downs, but it’s always been a great ride. Most of what I’ve learned about bikes has been from these guys, and the guys that passed through their doors.
They’ve pretty much been a full service gig for me – Soup to Nuts: Print, Web, Branding, Apparel, Marketing, Photography (Oh, the photography!)… you name it.

When a buddy of mine decided to set out on his own, he shoulder tapped me to do a little branding and web work. I cooked up this little logo, and built him a site built around OSCommerce.

57design has been working with Surftech for years. Our last redesign of the site, however, gave us a chance to add some really cool functionality.
Rebranding… Big Designs has gone from “Sparking your Interest” to Shocking the crap out of you! Don’t ground yourself when welding kids… it HURTS!
A branding and web site project for a company trying to resolve the B2B2C triangle that so many companies struggle with. BrandGo’s model works for just about any business that manufactures a product for the masses, but the heart of the company lies in the action sports industry.
These guys were WAY too a head of their time. Back in the 90′s, they bought the technology/patent for haptic touch screen technology for hand held devices. A phone with no keys, are you kidding!? Who would want THAT!?
