57design has been working with Surftech for years. Our last redesign of the site, however, gave us a chance to add some really cool functionality.
Surftech has A LOT of SKUs. So what we did, was create a way for the user to easily narrow down their choices, to find the board they’re looking for. We integrated their internal Netsuite inventory system to the site, so it grabs the boards they upload to their inventory system that are available for purchase and have in stock, and displays them on the site.
We also put together an interface, that after a series of questions about your abilities as a surfer and size/weight, will tell you what sort of board Surftech recommends for you to ride.
